Switching to Moqups as an alternative to Figma? Or maybe your designer works in Figma while the rest of the product team uses our app. Either way, we have a plugin that makes it easy to bring Figma designs directly into your Moqups project.

In this article, you'll learn how to install the Figma to Moqups plugin, and how to copy and paste designs directly from Figma into Moqups.

Install the Figma to Moqups Plugin

  1. Visit the Figma to Moqups plugin page in the Figma Community.
  2. Click the Open in Figma button.
  3. The plugin will now be available in your Figma account under Plugins.

Copy/Paste from Figma to Moqups

Once the plugin is installed, you can copy and paste any selection from Figma:

  1. Open your Figma project.
  2. Select the objects or frames you want to bring into Moqups.
  3. Right click to open the Figma to Moqups plugin.
  4. Click the Export Selection button to convert to JSON.
  5. Click the Copy button to save the JSON to your clipboard.
  6. Paste the copied JSON directly into your Moqups project.
