Can I add my own custom fonts?

We're currently working on an option to upload and use custom fonts. Any updates will be announced on the Moqups Blog and our social media.

How can I assign Admin privileges to another team member?

Admins are account-based. Each account has one Admin, who is also the admin for all teams, and the email contact for that account. You'll find the option to switch Admins – and hand off the account controls to another user – in DashboardAccountSecurityChange Account Admin.

How can I change the email for my account's Admin?

The option to switch Admins and hand off the ownership of a Moqups account to another user is located in DashboardAccountSecurityChange Account Admin.

How can I delete my account?

On the Account page of your Dashboard, select the Delete Account tab and then follow the instructions. When you delete your account, you will erase all your projects along with your team, account, and billing information. This action is irreversible

How can I get a refund?

You can request a refund for 30 days after any transaction. If you qualify, just send us your request. Refunds normally take a couple of days to process.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel a paid subscription, you need to downgrade to the Free Plan. Your payments will stop immediately, but your paid features will remain active till the end of that billing cycle:

  1. In your Dashboard, go to the Account page

  2. Select the Payments tab and click the Change Plan button

  3. Click the Cancel Paid Subscription link at the bottom

I bought a yearly plan but I wanted a monthly subscription.

If you send us the email address associated with the account, we can refund your yearly-plan payment. Then, you can re-subscribe to the monthly plan instead. Please be aware that refunds may take several days to process.

What's included in the Moqups Free Plan?

The Free Plan offers 2 active projects, a limit of 400 objects per project, 25MB of image storage, and 7 Contributors. It does not include: Teams and team roles, project permissions, private projects, archiving, or export to PNG, PDF, and HTML.

Can I use SSO/SAML with Moqups?

As well as sign-up with Google, Moqups supports single sign-on with SAML for OneLogin, Okta and Azure AD identity providers. You'll find these options in the Integrations tab of your Dashboard's Account page.

How can I get an invoice?

You can download your invoices, and also choose to have future invoices sent to you by email:

  1. In your Dashboard, go to the Account page

  2. Select the Payments tab

  3. You’ll find your invoices (as PDFs) under Payment History

  4. In the Next billing date section, toggle 'on' to receive invoices by email.

Will I lose my projects or data if I downgrade?

You won't lose any projects or data. However, because Free Plans have a 2 project quota, only your most recent projects will remain active; the rest will be archived. When you wish to restore them, just upgrade to a paid plan once again.

As a student, how do I apply for the Education plan?

Just create a free Moqups account using your school email address and then send us a request from that email. We'll upgrade your account to the Moqups Solo plan for a period of one year, with the possibility of extending this period upon request.

Do you offer discounts for educational institutions, non-profits and NGOs?

If you are an NGO, non-profit, or educational organization, you qualify for a full-feature account at no cost. And, since Moqups was built on components created by the open-source community, we are happy to support open-source projects as well.

Can I add my own custom icons?

Currently, you can’t upload custom icon sets to the Icons library, however we’re actively developing that functionality. In the meantime, if you have custom icons in SVG format, there’s a quick and easy work-around by using the Templates Panelas a repository.

Can I change the new project default from private to Team Access?

Yes, you can do this in the Teams tab of your dashboard. Click the 'gear' button in the upper-right corner to open Team Settings. From there, you can change the new project default to Team Access. Subscribers to our Unlimited plan also have the option of disallowing private projects altogether.

Can I move projects between different teams?

From your Dashboard's Project List, click on the More Menu to the right of any project title. Select the Move to another team option and choose a destination team.

Help! I've lost access to my account.

If you've lost access to a Moqups account, please drop us a line and include any information that might connect you to the account – like matching email domains, and the type and last 4 digits of the card that was used to make previous payments.

Is there a way to prevent team members from creating private projects?

Yes, if you are on our Unlimited plan, you can prevent the creation private projects from the Teams tab of your dashboard. Click the 'gear' button in the upper-right corner to open Team Settings. Under Access for New Projects, select Disallow private projects.

It says my payment can't be processed.

Don't worry, just contact us. To help speed things up, please include the last 4 digits of the credit or debit card with which you're having issues.

Can I export my work to PDF or PNG?

Yes, the Export button in the top menu lets you export projects, or select pages, in either PNG or PDF formats. Additionally, the 'Export selection' option in the right-click Context Menu lets you export a selected object or group as a PNG.

Can I use Moqups locally on my computer?

Moqups is exclusively online and browser based, so there's no downloadable, desktop version. However, you can export your project as an HTML version of the viewer that's perfect for presenting in offline environments.

Additionally, if you lose connectivity while working on project, you can keep editing for an hour or so. As long as you don't close your tab, your browser should be able sync once the connection is re-established.

Is my data secure?

We understand the sensitive and proprietary nature of the projects that our customers create. As a result, we encrypt all our communication through SSL. All data is stored securely, and backed up regularly in multiple geographic locations.

My project has disappeared.

There are a couple of things to check. If you recently upgraded or downgraded, your project may have been Archived.

Or, the project you're looking for may be owned by a team from a different account. You can check by going to the Page Window of your Dashboard. Use the team switcher at the top of the left sidebar to see the list of projects owned by each team. You may find your lost project there.

And, if you accidentally deleted a project, you can always use the Recover function.

As a teacher, can I use Moqups in my classroom?

Of course! We’re thrilled that schools, colleges and universities incorporate Moqups into their curriculum. If you want to use Moqups in your class, just create a free Moqups account with your school email address. Then, send us a request from that email and tell us a little bit about both your class and curriculum. We'll upgrade your account to a Team plan that allows for students' individual work as well as their collaboration.

How do I apply for a free plan for my non-profit or NGO?

Just create a free Moqups account using your organization email address. Then, send us a request from that email and tell us a little bit about your group and the work you do.

We'll upgrade you to a Moqups Team plan, free of charge, for a period of one year, with a possibility of renewal upon request. This plan includes 3 editors, unlimited storage, real-time collaboration, and many other features.

If I'm part of a paid team, why do I still get asked to upgrade?

You may be working on a project from your free, personal account rather than from the paid account. Make sure that you have selected a project from that paid team. If you've created a project in the wrong account, you can always transfer it directly from the dashboard.

Which browsers do you currently support?

Moqups works with Chrome 64+, Firefox 68+, Safari 11+, Opera 68+.

How can I get the Moqups Extension?

Can I import files from other apps like Figma or Photoshop?

Moqups doesn't have a way to import files from other apps.

How long can I qualify for a free education or non-profit plan?

NGO and Educational upgrades last for one year, but can be renewed upon request and re-verification.

Who qualifies for your Education plan?

If you're a registered student, teacher, or professor, you are eligible for a free Moqups upgrade that includes our premium features.

How can I move people between teams?

Add the person to a new team and then remove them from their previous team. You can do all of this in the Teams Page of the Dashboard. Select a team and, in the member list, use the dropdown to the right of the member's name to change their role, or remove them from the team entirely.

How can I share a project with my whole team?

To share a private project with the rest of your team, go to the Sharing Tab in the Moqups Editor and toggle Enable Team Access on.

How can I share my work with my developers?

You can share a Project Link, collaborate in real time with Live Presence, export projects or pages to PNG and PDF, create a stand-alone version of the viewer, or use our Handoff tool to grab Styles and CSS/JSX code for one or more objects on the page.

You can use our Dropbox integration to export PNG, PDF and HTML versions of your Moqups projects directly to your Dropbox account. You'll find this integration in the Apps & Notifications tab of your Dashboard's Account page.

Connecting your Moqups account to Google Drive lets you to export, open, and create Moqups projects in Drive. You'll find this integration in the Apps & Notifications tab of your Dashboard's Account page.

Can I connect Moqups to Slack?

Moqups for Slack lets teams monitor their progress on Moqups projects by posting comments from individual Moqups teams to specific Slack channels. You'll find this integration in the Apps & Notifications tab of your Dashboard's Account page.

Can I use SCIM with Moqups?

Along with our SSO (Single Sign-On) integration, Moqups also offers automatic provisioning with SCIM for OneLogin, Okta and Azure AD identity providers. You'll find these options in the Integrations tab of your Dashboard's Account page.

How to I turn off email notifications?

Go to the Notifications tab of the Account Dashboard. From there, you can opt out of our Newsletter, and manage Comment Notifications for your entire account or individual teams. Within any project, more granular controls also let you follow/unfollow that project or specific threads

After downgrading, I upgraded again, and now I can’t find my work.

When you downgrade to Free, all but your most recent three projects will be archived. Once you re-upgrade to a paid plan, you can restore the rest of your projects from the Archive on your Dashboard's Project Page.

Are there any hidden fees or contracts?

No. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time — no questions asked.

Are your prices listed in USD or EUR?

On our pricing page, EU customers see our prices in EUR. Customers outside the EU see our prices in USD.

Can I get a discount code?

Our Pricing Page displays any current promotions and the relevant codes. Discount codes apply only to subscriptions purchased via credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay, and should be entered during the checkout process.

Can I use the Free Plan for commercial purposes?

Yes, absolutely!

How can I change my contact and billing email?

To ensure that you continue to receive your invoices, notifications and reset-password links, make sure that you enter your address correctly, and that the email is currently valid.

  1. In your Dashboard, go to the Account page

  2. Select the Profile & Password tab

  3. Click on the Email field and type in your new address.

How do I change plans?
  1. In your Dashboard, go to the Account page's Payments tab

  2. Click Change Plan to open the Plans and Pricing options

  3. Here you can choose a new plan or downgrade to Free.

What debit and credit cards do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. You can also pay via PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay and bank transfer.

Why is my discount code not working?

The discount may not apply to the specific plan or billing cycle you selected – or the offer itself may have expired.

Can I use Moqups on mobile?

You can view and edit projects on touch devices, but editing works best on larger screens, so tablets are recommended.

Can I use my Moqups project as an actual, functioning app or website?

No, Moqups is designed for planning, wireframing and prototyping. Your Moqups project can act as a blueprint for your developers, but they will need to code your design in order to deploy it.

How can I get an object's CSS or JSX code?

The Handoff button in the top menu will let you grab both CSS and JSX code, as well as Styles, for any selected objects or groups.

Moqups is working slowly.

Performance issues can usually be improved by dividing huge projects into two or more, by using smaller page sizes, or by reducing image file-size. You'll find these and other useful tips in our article on Troubleshooting.
